Kshitij Wagh (born 21 October 1977) is an Indian playback singer, music composer, and live show performer. He was born to a very famous singer Ramesh Waugh. Kshitij was born in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. First, he used to learn to sing from his father. Later he joined Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, New Delhi to continue his learning in singing. Kshitij has participated in the second season of Indian Idol, a reality show in the years 2005 and 2006. According to the sources, he started singing in movies in the year 2006. First, he began singing in Marathi films. However, this fact is not yet confirmed. In that film, he sang two songs “Amhi Tumchya,” Thembanche Moti Leyun” for the film Alia Re. After this, he started singing for Hindi films, TV commercials, and the radio also. In Hindi, he sang for the movies Bum Bum Bole, Udan, Game, and many more. Kshitij Wagh has sung more than 300 songs for TV and radio commercials for major leading brands. Brands include Lux, Mentos, Aircel, Dabur Chyawanprash, etc. He directed music in one Marathi movie “YedyanchiJatra.” Shankar MahadevanShreya Ghoshal has sung for him in this film. This film has made a big hit on the silver screen. He has won all Indian singing competition of Sangam Kala group in the year 2001. Wagh was also a finalist of Indian Idol 2. Kshitij Wagh has also won an award for the best music director at the Maharashtra Chitrapadarpan Awards in Pune.
