Youngest Pianist of India-Gauri Mishra, Presented a LIVE Piano Concert

Youngest Pianist of India-Gauri Mishra, who received the National Award from the Honorable President of India, presented a LIVE Piano Concert at Sangit Kala Mandir, Kolkata. The performance was in remembrance of the Founder of Kala Mandir, Late Shri Basant Kumar Birla Ji.

She was accompanied by Renowned Tabla Artist-Shri Pradip Sarkar, Dynamic Mridangam Player-Shri V. Shankar Raman, Versatile Guitarist-Shri Ramesh Chander Jain, and Talented Percussionist-Shri Rajkumar. The compositions played were dedicated to Lord Shiva, protecting and preserving the environment, Indian Military Forces, etc.

An arrangement of the Mission Impossible theme was an amalgamation of Bollywood, Western, and Indian Classical Music. She started with a tribute to Kolkata by playing a composition of V. Balsara Ji, and the concert ended with Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay ji’s Vande Mataram along with the National Anthem written by Rabindra Nath Tagore Ji. An audience of about 1000 sang the National Anthem together as Gauri played. It was an immensely beautiful experience.

Gauri has recently won the first prize at National Competition 2022 held in Pune and is going to Dubai for International Competition. Spoke as a guest speaker at TEDx 2022 Avant Grade and performed at TEDx event Possibility REBOOTED

Gauri has been learning piano since the age of 4 and has broken records by being the Youngest Piano Player at the age of 9 and received many National and International awards. She has been performing in live concerts since the age of 8 years. Recently, she has received the National Award (Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya BAL Puraskar-2020) from our Honourable President Shri Ram Nath Kovind.

From the age of 11, she started to play Indian Classical Music (Raag) on Piano and received a beautiful appreciation letter from Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji in 2017 for her experiments with Indian Classical Music on Piano.

Moreover, Gauri plays four genres of music, i.e., Indian Classical, Western, Bollywood, and Fusion on Piano, which is rare and unique.

She is pursuing her music certification from Trinity College of London (Completed Grade 8) and Indian Classical from Prayag Sangeet Samiti Allahabad, India (Completed Grade 5).
