New Delhi, June 29, 2022: EdNet School of Art & Design, the art wing of EdNet Consultants which is one of the top study-abroad education consultants in Delhi, calls upon all art enthusiasts for the first edition of Palette… An Artist’s Odyssey, an immersive exhibition-cum-art camp.
This two-day event will be taking place on July 16 and 17, 2022 at The Stainless Gallery, New Friends Colony wherein guests will get a chance to witness the mixed media artwork of the enormously talented High School students of the art school who are embarking on their journey to study at the top art and design schools of the world in 2022. In line with EdNet’s commitment to engaging with the broadest possible audiences, the exhibition will open to all those interested without an entry fee.
The two-day convention will have an immersive display of artworks, open to spectators for viewing and purchase. It aims to target young spectators, aspiring artists, art critics and art enthusiasts. Palette has been designed to engage the mind, soul and body of art enthusiasts and give them a chance to explore the different techniques of art, ranging from charcoal, linocut, water colours, paper mache, oil paints, pen and pastels, and more.
Day 1 of the exhibition will commence with an inauguration ceremony in the presence of our Chief Guest, Mr. Sandeep Marwah. The ceremony will celebrate EdNet’s successful journey as the top study abroad preparatory school that has placed its students at the apex art and design schools, such as Rhode Island School of Design, Parsons, California College of the Arts, School of Visual arts, Central St Martin, Lasalle, Pratt, among others, across the world.
This will be followed by art tours, networking with celebrated personalities in the art and design space, invigorating symposiums with eminent panelists such as the faculty of La Salle College of the Arts, Singapore, Aditi Khurana of School of Visual Arts, and Pooja Sood, Founding Member & Director of Khoj, among others on topics of importance such as The changing landscape of art with the introduction of digital media, NFTs, What a career in art and design entails in the new world, and the evolving nature of art itself – all this and more, surrounded by the thought-provoking artworks of the students.
On Day 2, guests will get a chance to attend a full-day art workshop, where EdNet’s eminent art teachers and international artists will provide free lessons on the basics of painting and sketching, such as block printing on fabric with rendering, craft central using origami and waste materials, miniature freehand water colour canvas, and Colour Theory. Through the medium of these workshops, EdNet aims to teach their art philosophy rather than just showcase it. International artists, such as Giovanni Ottonello of IED Milano, will also be holding live workshops on Day 2. These engaging workshops will be open to all who wish to dip their toes in the creative waters.
