Aaliyah Kashyap discusses her first kiss, first date, and first concert in a new video, which she went to with Anurag Kashyap’s ex-wife Kalki Koechlin. In a video uploaded by Avanti Nagral on YouTube, Aaliyah Kashyap, the daughter of filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, reminisced about her numerous firsts.
Shane Gregoire, Aaliyah’s boyfriend, was also featured in the video. Aaliyah Kashyap talked about her many firsts in the video, from the first app she checks in the morning (Instagram) to her first swear word (‘bewakoof,’ which means dumb). She also discussed her first kiss at the age of 14 and how she ‘ran away’ after that. “I was 14 at the time, and it was the worst thing that had ever happened to me because of my actions. I just went away after that because I was so shy.
“I abandoned him and fled,” she recounted. When asked about her first concert, Aaliyah recalled bringing her father Anurag Kashyap’s then-wife, Kalki Koechlin, to a Pitbull show. “she was quite young at the time, and she had gone with her father’s wife, Kalki, whom she had forced to accompany me.
“The poor woman had to wait there while she danced to Pitbull music, and she was miserable,” she explained. Aaliyah also spoke about her first date as a youngster. “It was my first relationship, and I was around 13 at the time. My best buddy was dating my boyfriend’s best friend at the time. As a result, we decided to go on a double date at Starbucks.
So we had talking points and got there, and the entire time it was just me, my best buddy, and those two guys talking. “And two of our buddies arrived dressed in black hoodies to stalk our date,” she remembered.
