It’s already halfway through the year, and now is the ideal moment to reflect on all of the fantastic scripts that K-drama has provided us with thus far. For so many dramas, the storylines, performances, OSTs, and cast all came together flawlessly, making them all worth watching. Here are the top 11 K-dramas of 2022 thus far.

All Of Us Are Dead

This zombie tale begins when a virus spreads across a high school due to a science teacher’s failed personal project. The infection starts with one kid and quickly applies to the other classmates. Before they know it, they realize that the entire country, and even the entire planet, is at risk.

A Business Proposal

Ahn Hyo Seop portrays chaebol Kang Tae Moo, who falls in love with Shin Ha Ri (Kim Sejeong) on a blind date. What he doesn’t realize about Ha Ri is that she’s filling in for her closest friend, who didn’t want to go on the blind date in the first place. When he realizes he has been duped, he gives Ha Ri the option to be his phony girlfriend for the time being.

“Our Blues” is a series starring Han Ji Min, Kim Woo Bin, Lee Byung Hun, Shin Min Ah, Cha Seung Won, Lee Jung Eun, Kim Hye Ja, and many more well-known actors. It is situated on the lovely Jeju Island and depicts the different real-life concerns and issues that the people face.

With its exposure to several significant societal concerns present not just in South Korea but worldwide, this outstanding series touched the hearts of many. The bond between families in a small community offers a sense of comfort and belonging.

Through the Darkness

This famous Kdrama stars Kim Nam Gil as Song Ha Young, a police officer accepted into the Criminal Behavior Analysis unit due to his clever reasoning. Based on the real story of South Korea’s first profiler, the series takes viewers on a trip through the different homicide cases he assisted in solving.

This series’ tone and vibe are all you could want in a crime/mystery K-drama. You are continually attempting to figure out who the perpetrators are and are eager to learn the outcome. It’s an exciting script with Kim Nam Gil’s excellent performance, which is no surprise.

Sixth Sense Kiss
Seo Ji Hye portrays Hong Ye Sool, a lady who can predict the future with a kiss. She chances to slip and kiss her boss Cha Min Hoo (Yoon Kye Sang), and the two fall in love. The only problem is that she despises her employer!
Based on Gatnyeo’s popular online book, the performers did an excellent job of bringing the story to life. Seo Ye Ji and Yoon Kye Sang’s personal and passionate sequences created some tremendous butterflies, making the series only 12 episodes all the more disappointing! Kim Ji Suk’s love triangle is also one of the most incredible.
Pachinko
This drama, starring Kim Min Ha, Lee Min Ho, Youn Yuh Jung, and Jin Ha, is based on Min Jin Lee’s novel of the same name. The series follows three generations of people.
“Pachinko” did not disappoint despite its debut’s anticipation and expectations. The narrative strikes on many levels, inspiring empathy and sympathy for what many Koreans faced in the past. Lee Min Ho’s acting abilities were outstanding, given his character’s ambiguity, but it was Kim Min Ha who truly stole the show. Through her portrayal, she revealed the powerful and confident Sunja, which was riveting.
