The National Eligibility Cumulative Entrance Test or Postpone NEET-UG 2022 movement is still going strong on Twitter. After the postponement of JEE Mains and NEET-PG, the NEET 2022 test is being scrutinized once more. Medical students are continuing to flood Twitter with requests to the National Testing Agency, NTA, to #PostponeNEETUG2022. The question is, what do students want? Do students truly want the NEET 2022 exam to be postponed? Please vote in the poll below.

NEET UG 2022 postponement is trending on Twitter, as applicants are concerned about insufficient preparation time for the medical entrance test. The NEET 2022 exam will be scheduled on July 17, 2022, and will be conducted in an offline mode.

At this point, applicants want NEET 2022 to be moved to September, citing the fact that many board exams end in June. They will require at least 1.5-2 months to prepare for the exam.

Furthermore, medical aspirants have suggested that since the JEE Mains 2022 exam has been postponed, officials should consider postponing the NEET 2022 exam as well. Unlike JEE, candidates only receive one attempt in the latter, and it would only be fair if they had enough time to prepare.

So, what do you desire? Do you want NEET 2022 to be rescheduled? To further understand, our team has designed a poll. Click on the Times Now Education tweet below to vote on whether NEET 2022 should be postponed or not.

Whether NEET-UG 2022 is postponed or not will be announced later. In the meantime, students are urged to rely on notices posted on the official website- neet exclusively.nta.nic.in. Any NEET exam updates will be provided there.

Over 1000 signatures have already been collected in support of the cause since the online petition was created.

“NEET-UG 2021 counseling was recently completed in March, and NEET-UG 2022 is slated for July.” How are we going to revise such a large syllabus in only three months? Furthermore, other major exams such as the Board Exams, CUCET, and JEE Mains are scheduled during the same period. Imagine the trauma and anxiety we students are under with all of these important tests planned one after the other! “Is this a fair decision?” the online petition asks.
According to the students, there is only one attempt for NEET. Thus their demands should be heard as well.
To make their voices heard, students flocked to social media channels like Twitter, using the hashtags #postponeneetug2022 and #ReschduleNEETUG2022.
The All India Medical Students’ Association (AIMSA), on the other hand, has written to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare requesting a postponement of the medical entrance exams for postgraduate studies – NEET-PG and NEET MDS. The aspirants have requested a delay of 8-10 weeks.
The union said in a letter to the health ministry that many doctors and interns would be unable to sit for the next medical postgraduate entrance tests since their final exams had been postponed.
It should be mentioned that about 5000 interns who served as covid warriors during the epidemic will be disqualified from taking the exam because their final exams have been delayed.
According to the medical aspirants, NEET PG 2021 counseling is still ongoing and is expected to be completed by May 3.
Whether NEET-UG 2022 is postponed or not will be announced later. In the meantime, students are urged to rely on notices posted on the official website- neet exclusively.nta.nic.in. Any NEET exam updates will be provided there.
