The curriculum provided by Open Study College, UK, which is a UK-based NVQ (Work Based Qualification) equivalent to the Skill Development in India, is customised to suit the beauty education needs in India.
Being level-based skill courses, students can choose the levels of their choice – Basic, Intermediate and Advance, basis their experience and requirement. Upon completion of these first-of-its-kind courses, students are awarded with two certificates – one by the State Government of Maharashtra and the other by the Gatehouse Awards UK. The USP about the academy is that the certificate by the Gatehouse Awards UK offers the students recognition for the skill learnt across 54 Commonwealth countries including Australia, New Zealand and Canada, to name a few.
Designed at par with industry standards, the courses are job-oriented, hence adding up to yet another unique USP of the academy – 100% Placement Assistance. With a vast range of tie-ups with MNCs, beauty product companies and salons, Beauty Skills Academy offers placement assistance to all the students upon completion of their course. The academy also offers the central governments Skill Loans Scheme through nationalised banks to all its students.
