While the female cop was able to escape, her male colleague was pulled by the door and thrown into a parked car as the robber applied the brakes. According to The Sun, at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, police were notified that a stolen Range Rover had arrived in Hertfordshire from Essex.

Officers from Essex Police sought to talk with the driver of the black automobile after it was discovered in Cheshunt. That’s when everything started to go wrong. “It was like a scene from the video game Grand Theft Auto,” Ali, an eyewitness who caught the incident on tape, told BBC News. The passenger, who was “amazed” by what he saw, said on the news site that he was there to catch a train but missed it due to the dramatic chase.

The vehicle was seen racing away from the incident and ramming onto the rails, shattering the barrier. A cab driver told the Evening Standard at Cheshunt Station Cars that one of their drivers was hurt in the accident while attempting to flee.
