Young Indians (YI), Kolkata Chapter, The Youth Wing of CII (Confederation of Indian Industry) through their National Conclave DBM (Dream, Believe, Magic!) hosted a “Keynote Session with Neerja Birla” on 29th, April 2022 at JW Marriott, Kolkata. Neerja Birla, Founder & Chairperson of Aditya Birla Education Trust addressed the rising issue of mental health and wellness in our country and how the pandemic has impacted the mental well being of people.
Mental Health has been a rising issue in India and Covid just brought it out to the forefront. This session was focused on shattering the taboo, normalizing mental health and taking a new path onto mental wellness with mental health champion and passionate educationist, Mrs. Neerja Birla. She is also the Founder & Chairperson of Mpower, a movement that aims to affect a positive change in the attitude towards mental health.
Vaibhav Soni, Chair, Young Indians (YI), Kolkata Chapter says, ‘Neerja Birla has been an inspiration for many. Her journey in normalizing conversations around Mental Health and bringing about a change has left us with much food for thought.
