With ‘MG Service on Wheels,’ MG Motor India brings car repair and maintenance

MG Motor India launched the ‘MG Service on Wheels’ project to give automotive repair and maintenance services to consumers from the convenience of their own homes.

This service outreach campaign reaffirms the company’s commitment to providing consumers with faster and more efficient service.

The program’s prototype version has been launched in Rajkot, and the company intends to expand into additional upcountry marketplaces across India in the future.

The ‘MG Service on Wheels’ is a comprehensive set of services designed to assist customers with routine vehicle maintenance as well as any repair and upkeep needs that may arise.

It will cover the majority of servicing operations that are otherwise only available in a workshop.

The programme will be managed and administered by highly trained and qualified technicians, who will be supported by MG’s unrivalled customer service. This will strengthen the service network and broaden its reach into existing markets.

MG Motor previously launched several customer-facing initiatives, such as ‘MY MG Shield’ and ‘MGCare@Home’.
While MY MG Shield is a one-of-a-kind and industry-leading car protection and care programme, the MG Care@Home initiative, which will launch in 2021, is intended to provide clients with contactless repair and sanitization services at their doorstep.
In appreciation of its innovative and distinctive services, MG Motor was ranked first in the J.D. Power India Customer Service Index (CSI) 2021 Study.

About Service on Wheels

A mobile workshop will be used to carry out the Service on Wheels concept.
A hydraulic scissor lift connected to a hydraulic power pack, an air compressor with a washing pump and additional provision for dry wash, a digital oil dispenser, a waste oil collection tank, and a pneumatic line with a filter-regulator-lubricator (FRL) unit are all included in the mobile workshop.
In addition, there is space for a completely stacked spare parts rack and illumination via an LED lamp. A wheel balancer with a slider, an electric control box, and a first-aid kit are all included with the workshop truck.
