Vinod Cookware Goes Big This Onam, Ties Up With Multiple Channels From Kerala

As part of this year’s Onam celebration, the cookware brand becomes the co-sponsor for Asianet’s Onam special cookery show and launches a high decibel Malayalam TVC campaign along with two full-page magazine ads.

Vinod Cookware, a household name in India, announced its association with India’s Malayalam television channel; Asianet as the joint title sponsor for its Onam special television cooking show ‘Onaruchimelam’.

To amplify its recall value and product awareness in the South market, the brand has also launched a Malayalam dubbed TVC, featuring its Platinum range that is manufactured using SAS Metal Technology.

The TVC will be aired for the entire month of August up to Onam on Asianet, Asianet HD, Mazhavil Manorama, Zee Keralam, Kairali TV, Asianet Movies and Asianet News. Alongside the TVC, the brand has taken up three and two full-page ads in Vanitha and Pachikam magazines respectively to be published in August and September issues.

The TVC campaign along with the media promotion partnership is carried out by the brand’s advertising agency; Network Advertising.

For this, we have planned a 6-week high decibel TV campaign in Kerala starting from 8th August leading up to Onam. To achieve this we have considered a mix of Reach and frequency TV channels in Kerala by maximizing our presence on GECs and also showcase the usage of Vinod Cookware products through an association with specialized properties like Onaruchimelam, an Onam special cookery show on ASIANET”

The cookware brand is all set to spread the word about its Platinum range with a Malayalam TVC in the southern parts of India which will be now seen on multiple Malayalam TV channels.

The advertisement conveys all the key features of the Platinum range- ‘even heating, no burning’ with a quirky concept. As part of the Asianet’s Onaruchimelam co-sponsorship, the ad will appear during all 10 episodes of the 30-minute cookery show airing from August 30th to September 8th, hosted by celebrity anchor Sadhika Venugopal along with movie celebrities as guests.
