There is no Master Distiller or Master Blender at METAXA House. It has a METAXA Master, Constantinos Raptis, who embodies the House’s distinct savoir-faire. Since 1888, he is only the fifth METAXA Master.
The wine distillates and Muscat wines are matured separately until Constantinos Raptis determines they are ready for emulsification in Limousin wood casks.
