Vijay Sales, one of India’s most recognizable names in electronics and consumer durables, recently carried out an amplification campaign for their new store launch campaign.
Puretech Digital, an award-winning full-service digital agency, conceptualized and executed the campaign, which included an interactive contest to generate more awareness for their new shop openings in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh via their launch film.
Vijay Sales introduced the #VijaySalesMove hook step challenge and teamed with social media influencers to promote the challenge and store presence.
Puretech Digital actively enlisted the help of regional influencers to add a local and personal touch to the activity. Influencers like Pranavi Manukonda and Aqsa Khan took part and shared footage of themselves doing the hook step.
The audience was encouraged to mimic the hook step in order to win interesting rewards.
The #EkkadakiVelaali marketing contest was announced on July 29, 2022, and ran for one month, until August 31, 2022.
The contest winners were announced on September 1st, and the three winners and runners-up received fantastic prizes such as OnePlus Televisions and boAt headphones.
