Mr. Pankaj Yadav talks on the post-budget expectation
Mr. Pankaj Yadav, Because of family financial issues at the age of 14 started working as a sales executive earning Rs 4500 per month as it was a tough time to help his family make ends meet, over the years he kept switching between different small paying jobs such as a calling executive for a call center. In 2014 Mr. Pankaj Yadav noticed that most of the companies he worked with usually have a tough time in procuring IT equipment as they needed to set aside funds from their operational costs which caused a cash crunch. That’s when Pankaj realized that he could start leasing computers and laptops to these companies so that they would be less burdened by the financials and could focus on building their business better. So Pankaj started by buying 20 machines from the little money he saved over the years and some money he collected from his relatives and started renting them. Over the years his company has grown to now having to over 4200 devices covering most of his clients it requirement such as Desktops, laptops, mobiles, servers, printers and UPS. With companies such as Zip Electric, AIG, Capital First, Axalta Coating Systems, AWL Logistics, City furnish, GIC Housing, Loan Addax, Kodak TV and ITC Hotels using the service Teletech Services provides, the company has revenue of about 7.2 cr annually.
Mr. Pankaj Yadav, Founder of Truetech Services talked about the post-budget expectation to Prittle Prattle News through a press release. He said,”To give a push to its Atmanirbhar Bharat policy, the center unveiled a revised customs duty structure that will effectively increase the duties on a wide range of items. Some revisions are aimed at boosting the government’s localization of the production plan. Others have been introduced to protect local producers and manufacturers against the cheaper imports from countries like China. In the electronics sector, for example, steeper import duty rates are a precursor to upcoming schemes under the production-linked incentive (PLI) plan. These hikes are part of the broader plan to push local production of electronics components which may lead to the price rise. The move for the steep rise in the component prices will further increase pressure on the manufacturers. The mobile and electronics sector should have been spared from the general removal of exemptions where there was zero percent import duty. The hikes are also not in line with the consultation held with the industry and recommendations of the subject ministry and experts”.
