Gains access to European markets for supply of Ethyl Acetate
IOL Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals Limited (IOL), a leading manufacturer of pharmaceutical (APIs) and specialty chemicals, announced receiving REACH certification for Ethyl Acetate (CAS: 141-7-86) supply in the European market.
Ethyl Acetate is exported by the company to over 40 countries. The company also announced the appointment of REACHLaw as its Only Representative (OR) to help the company widen its arms and grow its territory in European countries.
REACH is a European Union (EU) law designed to improve human health and environmental protection.
The bill intends to improve the competitiveness of the EU Chemicals Sector. This certification will allow IOL to export Ethyl Acetate within the European Union.
In 1996, IOL began producing Ethyl Acetate. It has the largest single location plant of Ethyl Acetate in India, with a production capacity of 120,000 tonnes per annum.
Beside Ethyl Acetate, the company also produces other key speciality chemicals such as- Acetyl Chloride, Mono Chloro Acetic Acid and Iso-Butyl Benzene.
