Indian travel industry sees double digit growth in the next 5 years

Offline travel services witness spurt in demand

The return of ‘revenge’ travel – a phenomenon best described as a surge in travel and tourism in the post-pandemic era – has seen an increased demand for offline services, with customers preferring speaking with consultants, due to numerous complications now associated with travel.

That has also led to an increased demand and need for travel and tourism professionals.

The thrust of this growth will be led by markets in the UK, India and Ireland.”

He also highlighted that even during the pandemic, the company retained a majority of its employees, despite incurring significant financial losses. “This investment in people has now enabled the company to survive, expand and grow,” he said.
