Bira 91 agrees to acquire The Beer Café to build India’s first large-scale direct-to-consumer platform

Bira 91, the world’s fastest-growing premium beer company, has agreed to buy The Beer Café, India’s top Alco-Beverage Chain.

Bira 91 will strengthen its presence in pubs and taprooms while also establishing India’s first large-scale direct-to-consumer platform focused on Beer & Innovation. The deal’s closing is subject to the transaction agreements’ standard terms and conditions.

Bira 91 will use its infrastructure, experience, and expansion skills to further develop The Beer Café’s operating business model and better serve its dedicated and passionate base of beer fans, according to the conditions of the agreement.

Rahul Singh, CEO and Founder of The Beer Café, will continue to drive the brand’s operations and assume full responsibility for the newly formed restaurant sector.

Bira 91 and The Beer Café are a wonderful combination since they bring together two businesses with similar cultures, consumers, and market prospects.
