Ather energy opens its first experience centre in Salem

With the inauguration of the EC in Salem, Ather Energy now has nine retail stores in the state of Tamil Nadu.

  • Ather now has 66 Experience Centres across the country catering to the rising demand Salem, 18th October 2022: Ather Energy, India's leading electric scooter manufacturer, strengthened its retail presence in Tamil Nadu today by opening a new Experience Centre in Omalur Main Road, Kurangusavadi, Salem, Tamil Nadu.

With the inauguration of the EC in Salem, Ather Energy now has nine retail stores in the state of Tamil Nadu.

The new retail outlet will retail the new and improved Gen 3 a variant of the flagship 450 Series.

The new Experience Centre, inaugurated in association with Suryabala Group, aims to educate consumers about the engineering and mechanical efforts that go into the manufacturing of the EV, thus offering an interactive space that aims to inform them about every aspect of the vehicle and provide a complete overview of all components.

Ather Space will provide an unique ownership experience and comprehensive service and support for the owners. Consumers can also book test ride slots on Ather Energy & website before visiting the Experience Centre.

Speaking on occasion Mr. Ravneet Singh Phokela, Chief Business Officer of Ather Energy, said,

Tamil Nadu has emerged as a high-demand market for electric scooters, with Ather registering a 49% quarter-on-quarter growth.
The company continues to invest strategically in charging infrastructure to alleviate range anxiety and has 100+ fast charging points, Ather Grids, across the state. Ather Energy plans to add 15 Experience Centres and 150 fast-charging grids by end of current fiscal year to enable the stress-free transition to EVs.
The ex-showroom price post the Fame II revision for the Ather 450X Gen 3 is INR 158,032 and INR 136,521 for the Ather 450 Plus Gen 3.

The Ather 450X Gen 3 scooter is one of the quickest and smartest in its class, and it comes in three colors: grey, mint green, and white.
The scooter has a 6kW PMSM engine, a 3.7 kWh lithium-ion battery, and four riding modes.
In addition to the Eco/Smart Eco, Ride, and Sport models, Ather Energy has launched a new high-performance variant called ' Warp. In Warp mode, the Ather 450X Gen 3 can accelerate from 0 to 40 mph in 3.3 seconds, making it one of the fastest scooters in the 125cc category and an excellent choice for navigating city traffic. The 17.78 cm (7") touchscreen dashboard has a 16M color depth and a Qualcomm Quad-Core CPU. The Ather 450X Gen 3 uses Android Open Source to provide Google Map navigation, onboard diagnostics, and other unique features like Over-the-Air updates, Auto Indicator off, and Guide-me-home lighting.
