Treasure Island a dramatized of all novels.

Robert Louis Stevenson’s adventure novel “Buccaneers and Hidden Riches,” published between 1881 and 1882, tells the story of “buccaneers and buried gold.”

It has had an enormous impact on public views of pirates, popularising aspects like “X”-marked treasure maps, schooners, the Black Spot, tropical islands, and one-legged seamen with parrots on their shoulders.

Treasure Island was initially considered a coming-of-age narrative and is known for its atmosphere, characters, and action. It is one of the most often dramatized of all novels. Treasure Island or the Mutiny of the Hispaniola has serialized in the children’s magazine Young Folks from 1881 to 1882, under Treasure Island or the Mutiny of the Hispaniola.

Billy Bones, an elderly sailor, arrives in the Admiral Benbow Inn on the Bristol Channel in England. He instructs Jim Hawkins, the innkeeper’s son, to keep an eye out for “a one-legged seafaring guy.” Black Dog, a former shipmate, approaches Bones and engages in a brutal brawl with him. Following Black Dog’s capture, a blind beggar named Pew visits Bones and gives him “the black spot” as a summons to reveal a map leading to buried wealth. Bones gets a stroke and dies shortly after. Pew and his henchmen attack the inn, but Jim and his mother manage to flee with some cash and a mystery parcel from Bones’ sea treasure. Excise officers run over Pew and crush him to death.

Jim and his mother discover an island map where the notorious pirate Captain Flint buried his riches within the packet. Dr. Livesey, the village physician, and John Trelawney, the squire, are shown the map by Jim. They decide to go to the island on an expedition, with Jim working as a cabin boy. Captain Smollett took command of Trelawney’s schooner, the Hispaniola. Long John Silver, the ship’s one-legged chef, was subsequently discovered to have been a pirate who served under Captain Flint. After the wealth is recovered, the conspirators plan to mutiny and kill the captain and the loyal soldiers, which Jim overhears.
