  1. Indian Leopard – The Indian Leopard is one of five large cats found in India, and it may be found in and surrounding tiger areas. However, it is less prevalent when the tiger population is high. Spotted leopards are classified as Vulnerable because they live in tropical rainforests to arid regions of the Indian Subcontinent.
  2. Snow Leopard – The Snow Leopard is a big wild cat categorized as Vulnerable and is primarily found in high altitudes of India’s Himalayas. Kibber Wildlife Sanctuary in Himachal Pradesh is one of the most fabulous places in India to see a grey with black patch leopard habitat in the snow-capped Indian Himalayas.
  3. Clouded Leopard – The Clouded Leopard is a small species of Indian big cat that is categorized as Vulnerable and may be found in the Himalayan foothills of North East India. The lonely cat is one of the most skilled tree climbers, and it can be found within the Indian states of Meghalaya, Tripura, and Assam. 4. Black Leopard/ Black Panther – The Black Panther is a melanistic color variation of the Indian Leopard found in Nagarhole National Park, Tadoba National Park, and Kabini Wildlife Sanctuary. Kabini Sanctuary is the finest site in India to view Black Panther or Black Leopard, which has only been recorded from some of the deep rainforest areas of southern India.
  5. Cat Leopard/ Leopard Cat – The leopard cat is a tiny wild cat found in the Indian Subcontinent, not a large cat. They are solitary, predatory, and vary significantly in fur color, tail length, and size depending on the environment. They graze on a variety of animals.
