Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurates, Bank of Baroda Opens 8 of the DBUs
Today, the Honourable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, dedicated 75 Digital Banking Units (DBU) across 75 districts to commemorate and celebrate India’s 75th year of independence.
As part of the 75 DBUs inaugurated by the Honourable PM, Bank of Baroda (Bank), one of India’s premier public sector banks, opened 8 DBUs in Indore, Kanpur Dehat, Karauli, Kota, Leh, Silvassa, Vadodara, and Varanasi.
All services provided by the DBUs will be digital, paperless, and entirely secure. To meet the requirements and desires of a diverse range of people, the DBU will offer services in two formats: 1) a self-service zone and 2) a digital assistance zone that will offer supported service.
The DBUs’ self-service services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Cash withdrawals and deposits, account opening, Fixed Deposit/Recurring Deposit opening, Digital Loans, Passbook printing, balance inquiry, fund transfer, and a variety of additional services are available.
